This weekend was dissapointing for our Fifa world payer nominees.

In the premier League Manchester United ace Cristiano Ronaldo failed to perform again in 2 consecutive matches which would definitely do no good to his world player hopes.He put up a below par performance when manchester lost to their neighbourhood rivals on an emotional day.It might be a mind game played by Gaffer just below the FA cup tie with Arsenal.
In the Spanish league Barcelona Drew again but Lionel Messi had a very good game with an amazing performance by tormenting the defenders but that didnt help his team take all the three points.
In the Serie A a good performance from Zlatan Ibrahimovich let the scudetto winners in firm place to win another title with ease. So now it looks as Ibrahimovich is getting an upper hand in the World player nominee with Kaka also in contention to some extent.
It will all unfold as the season ends and will give a clear idea on who will be next.

Another goal scored by Ibrahimovich in the serie A to lead Inter to a victory with 10 men.He is certainly going to be there in the top three for the honours.
In premier league Ronaldos goal scroring spree came to an end when Manchester United drew 1-1 with Totenham where the only goal scored was a own goal by Michael Dawson.The whole game Totenham was succesful to keep the in form winger quite who did nothing but just head wide from a wayne roney cross, it was a dissapointing performance by Ronaldo.
In spain another briliant performance by Lionel Messi in which Barcelona won 1-0 with a late goal from Xavi.
As the season ends it will decide who will be the strongest for the Award so keep on waiting and hold your breaths.
